Gospel singer, Victoria Orenze is set to release three albums within seven months.

In a chat with Sunday Scoop, she revealed that the albums are divine assignments, birthed in the place of intimacy, each rooted in messages she believes the Church and the world desperately need right now.

Speaking about the upcoming projects, Jesus Christ Album Volume One, Prayer Medley, and Sounds of Deliverance, she said, “I can’t save the whole ship, but I can save as many people on the ship as I can before it sinks. Jesus is coming back, that’s why I’m doing this.”

“Although Jesus Christ Volume One was recorded as far back as 2019, I had held back from releasing it until I received a spiritual confirmation. People ask, ‘Why now? It’s because this is the set time. The world needs to see the real Jesus, not just people using His name, but those who actually know Him. It’s not about fame. It’s about formation. If you don’t know Jesus, you can’t represent Him.”

Speaking about her journey she stated, “I’ve sold everything sellable in this world, from firewood to vegetables, not the fancy kind. I sold eggs, snails, fish, and kerosene. I’ve hawked on the streets of Benin, Akure, and Lagos. There was no clear future in sight. Through all the hardship, Jesus Christ remained my anchor.

“He gave me hope when there was none. He gave me peace when I had no money, no voice, no plan. He’s not a theory. He’s not some churchy phrase. He’s real. He’s my friend.”

Orenze also warned her fellow gospel artists and emerging ministers not to seek fame without formation.

“Seek Jesus. Even ambassadors are trained before they are sent out. You cannot represent a King you do not know. This is spiritual warfare. You’re either drawing people to Jesus or away from Him.

“These albums are not for the charts. They are for the heart. I don’t even know how to keep up with all the songs God gives me. Sometimes, I cry just receiving them. Each one feels like a divine instruction.”
