Olori Ivie, wife of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has celebrated her 39th birthday in grand style, leaving admirers awestruck with her ethereal appearance. To mark the occasion, the queen of Warri kingdom shared breathtaking photos of herself clad in a majestic white attire designed to resemble an angelic figure. The elaborate outfit, adorned with feathers, created the illusion of a celestial space.
Set against a backdrop with classical architecture, the imagery evoked the timeless grace and poise the queen is known for.
In another equally captivating photo, Atuwase embraced a golden, goddess-like aesthetic, donning a richly embroidered gold traditional outfit with dramatic sleeves and layers of pearls. Her headtie (gele) crowned the regal look, while golden feathers enveloped her in a glowing embrace.
In a post accompanying the photos, Atuwase expressed gratitude for life in a poem she titled, The Year of the Bride. She wrote. “This is thirty-nine, not a milestone marked by noise or motion but by quiet knowing. A year not of striving, but of surrender. Not of carrying everything, but of allowing myself to be carried.
“This is the year of the Bride. Not in the earthly sense alone— but in the posture of spirit. A season to be adorned not by achievement, but by alignment. To receive, not as reward, but as recognition of love.”
