A Canada-based actress and film producer, Yetunde Adeyemi, aka Yetibae, believes that her new movie will break records in Nollywood.

In a statement shared with Sunday Scoop, she noted that she had been at the forefront of shaping culture and celebrating Nigerians who are excelling in the Diaspora, particularly in Canada, in recent years.

She said, “As someone who is interested in impacting lives, I chose acting and movie production as a veritable tool to sell myself and my ability as a Yoruba girl whose cultural background is diverse, deep and inexhaustible.

“I believe in investing in people and impacting lives though sometimes, people are not grateful and make one regret one’s actions at times.

“But, I still go ahead to ensure people are positively impacted with the resources I have.”

She also stated that she was set to release another movie titled, Dark Path. According to her, the movie, which is directed by Femi Adebayo and Adebayo Tijani, is about a lady who lost her brother to the cold hands of death many years ago, and her parents were getting older without proper care.

Yetibae, who played the lead role in the movie, added that the character was determined to live the life of her dreams but at a cost as she decided to take the bull by the horns over her family’s financial challenges.

She added, “I am sure that the movie would break records, because a lot of resources went into its production. I can’t wait to share it with a global audience.”
