US-based Nigerian engineer, Motunrayo Ogunmola, has urged researchers to focus their innovations on addressing food insecurity in Nigeria.
The Nigerian researcher advocated the engineering-driven humanitarian solutions to address the food crisis in the country.
Ogunmola, who is a research associate at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Research Laboratory, made this known in a statement made available to Punch Diaspora Tales on Wednesday.
“Humanitarian efforts in Nigeria must integrate the results of rigorous research into their supply chain strategies,” she said.
