Popular Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has once again gone all out to celebrate his wife, Chioma Adeleke, in grand style.
The award-winning artiste, known for his lavish displays of affection, pulled off an unforgettable birthday surprise as Chioma turned 30. Viral videos circulating on social media captured the heartwarming moment the celebrator walked into a surprise party organised by her husband.
Dressed in a stunning blue and white peacock-inspired gown, Chioma was visibly moved to tears as she entered the room filled with close friends and family who chorused a loud “surprise!” Her emotional reaction quickly turned into heartfelt embraces as she made her way around the room, hugging guests.
The celebration was an intimate yet glamorous affair, marked by music, food, and laughter as the couple wined and dined with their loved ones. During the party, Davido delivered a touching speech in honour of his wife, sharing the depth of his admiration and love for her.
“You know when my wife is not happy, I am not happy. Just know that everyone here loves you. Your dad and my dad are like best friends but they couldn’t be here. However, my dad is represented by his oldest child. I can’t even start to explain what you do to me. You give me strength, life and wisdom. The amount of people we flew out is just amazing, and I am happy that we are all here to celebrate you and by the grace of God, next year, we will be celebrating the mansion. Anyways, I love you so much and there is one small gift we want to give you.”
Shortly after the speech, the music star led his wife outside, where a brand new black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon AMG G63 awaited her. The luxury vehicle was not the only gift; Chioma also received a Birkin bag and an additional $10,000 in cash, courtesy of the car dealer.
This latest gesture adds to Davido’s history of high-end gifts to his beloved. During their wedding festivities last year, Chioma was given a white SUV. In 2018, the Timeless crooner also celebrated her birthday with a lavish bash, where he surprised her with a Porsche.
Beyond material gifts, Davido has immortalised his love for Chioma in his music, notably with songs like Assurance and Ogechi. The recent celebration is yet another testament to their enduring bond.
