Residents of Igbede community in Ogun State are crying out for help after enduring 21 years without electricity. The lack of power has crippled businesses, driven people away, and made life unbearable for those who remain. Many newcomers who moved into the area hoping for better conditions have also lamented never experiencing electricity since their arrival.

Despite their efforts to pool resources to restore power, all attempts have failed, leaving the community in despair. The residents are pleading with the government to intervene urgently and provide a lasting solution to end their decades-long struggle in darkness.
